WAVEPACE products meet the requirements of the German subsidized fiber optic rollout!
The WAVEPACE components of network levels 4 and 5 (MDU Splice Patch Wall Box, SDU Splice Patch Wall Box and FTTH Wall Outlets) are certified to meet the requirements of the German subsidized fiber optic rollout, when used with LC/APC connectors.
This certificate of conformity enables an exhaustive area of application of the WAVEPACE products and systems.
By the end of last year, BTV Multimedia Group launched WAVEPACE®, the first group-wide FTTH product series. Components such as the MDU Splice Patch Wall Box were successful in establishing themselves as standard components at leading network providers within just a few months. Now, the WAVEPACE® components of network levels 4 and 5 (MDU Splice Patch Wall Box, SDU Splice Patch Wall Box and FTTH Wall Outlets), using LC/APC connectors, are certified to meet the requirements of the subsidized German fiber optic rollout.
The WAVEPACE MDU Splice Patch Wall Box for up to 72 splices and 32 LC ports impresses not only with its IP55 and IK08 protection levels, but also with very space saving dimensions of only 250 x 170 x 90 mm and its modular structure, which enables the product to be fully pre-assembled. The SDU Splice Patch Wall Box, on the other hand, thanks to its capacity of 12 splices and 4 LC ports, is particularly suitable for network level 4 termination in single dwelling houses, whereas the WAVEPACE® FTTH Wall Outlet can be optimally used as a cost-optimized, passive fiber optic termination in the end customer's apartment. In addition to the products mentioned, the WAVEPACE® product portfolio currently consists of core components of network levels 2 and 3, such as an Optical Distribution Frame system solution and Splice-Splitter-Patch Outdoor Cabinets.

An important requirement in the design of our WAVEPACE products is the ease of installation. Due to the increasing shortage of skilled workers in the fiber optics industry, installers from other industries will also be confronted with the installation of fiber optic components in the future.
